通讯称，香港警察在察看时，机动车牌辨别体例创造一辆私人车的车牌已于2015年过时，所以香港警察上前追截咨询，截止私人车见状相反加快潜逃。在撞击多辆车后，香港警察鸣枪劝告司机登时下车，但司机仍旧没有就范并再次逃窜。通讯称，警方见鸣枪失效，登时打枪，击中了司机右肩。随后上前将司机克服并送往病院调节。据通讯，车内再有一名女搭客和一名2岁婴孩，两人并无负伤。
